Recently a friend put a post on Facebook that started with “Hey Chicken friends…”

Not really all that crazy. She was seeking advice from her other chicken-owning friends on sending her brood of young chicks into the big coop.

 

 

 

 

But this got me thinking.

I refer to my friends based on what we have in common. I have dog friends, agility friends, flyball friends, scrapbooking friends, crafting friends, writer friends, book friends, drinking friends. The list goes on. Some people fall into multiple groups. Some, like my drinking friends, simply fall.

Down.

And we laugh, and laugh.
